Nicholas Hagger had two new books out earlier in 2015: My Double Life 1: This Dark Wood and My Double Life 2: A Rainbow over the Hills.
These two works are autobiographical. The first ends in 1973 and the
second continues to the present. They chronicle 93 experiences of the mystical
Light from on-the-day diary entries. They describe his transformation which
left his instinctively seeing the world and universe as a unity. They tell the
story of the growth of his philosophy Universalism which is like a rainbow with
seven bands. The seven bands are the seven disciplines in which he has written:
literature, mysticism, history, comparative religion, philosophy, international
politics/statecraft and culture.
It is a fascinating story which takes us behind the creation of his
philosophical outlook and covers several disciplines. The books leave us with a
clear insight into the universe and the unity of humankind.
